Apples & Berries College Fund
Every child enrolled at Apples and Berries receives their own Schwab 529 college savings account, invested in an S and P 500 style index fund. New families receive a 500 dollar signing bonus deposited immediately upon enrollment, plus 200 dollars every month starting in the third month.
Once your child reaches age five and a half, or becomes kindergarten eligible, whichever comes first, the account fully vests and becomes yours. At that point, we hand you the Apples and Berries Legacy Packet, with everything you need to access and keep growing the account for your child's future
For example, a child who enrolls with us at age two could have around $10,000.00 vested in their account by age five and a half. If a family continues contributing two hundred dollars a month after that, the account could grow to around $70,000.00 by age seventeen.

What the Funds Can Be Used For
Tuition, room and board, books and supplies, at any eligible college, university, community college, trade or vocational school, or registered apprenticeship program, plus other qualified education expenses under IRS 529 rules.
